We are thrilled to be able to deliver family bike rides starting from The Stables Community Hub in Culross on 18th October as part of the Fife Climate Festival. 

Traffic-free guided rides (approx 8km/45mins) plus a balance bike meet-up session, toy swap, ask the mechanic sessions, and tasty locally sourced food. We will have a small number of bike trailers, kids bike seats, adult bikes and kids balance bikes to try. If you already have these, come along, meet new folk and ask advice from our qualified cycling guide and coach.

Children from 1-5yrs old (they must be able have a strong enough neck to wear a helmet) are welcome with an adult, plus older siblings (if bringing their own bike they must be able to ride at a relaxed pace for approx 8km). The route is gentle and traffic free, however adults, or siblings on bikes, should be able to cycle competently to attend. 

Balance bike session will be a relaxed come and play session in the afternoon where kids can bring their own bikes or try one of ours - no need to book.

Timings:

10am - 2pm: Hall open for toy swap, mechanical help, balance bike fun

10 - 11am: First guided ride 

11:30 - 12:30pm: Second guided ride

12:30 - 1:30pm: Locally sourced food

1pm: balance bike games & competition
